MS Office v.7 and File Compatability

You may already be aware of this, but older versions of MS Office will not read files (Excel, Word, etc.) created with the updated version. If your office or campus is upgrading to Word 2007, you can go here for Microsoft's program that fixes the problem. Hat tip: GTCC's Library Blog.

Bibliographic Citation Software

If you fall into the camp of making things easy for students, you may be interested in adding one or more of the following bibliographic citation software links to your library's web pages:

Other citation products may require software downloads, the creation of a user account, etc. All of the above only require the student to go to the web page, create the citation, and copy the citation into their document.
